Army Chief Puts Disarmament Plan Before International Envoys in Tyre

Lebanon’s Army Commander, General Rodolph Haykal, and a delegation of Arab and foreign ambassadors and military attachés arrived at the Tyre barracks at the start of a tour organized by the Lebanese Army to brief them on the progress of the disarmament plan and on Israeli attacks.
They were received by the Commander of the South Litani sector, Brigadier General Nicola Tabet, followed by a meeting during which Brigadier General Tabet briefed the delegation on the implementation of the army's operations.
Afterwards, the delegation headed to the west sector area in Tyre to inspect a number of army posts stationed at the front line on the border with occupied Palestine.
