Army Commander visits Baabda, issues directives

President Joseph Aoun was briefed by Army Commander, General Rodolph Haykal, on the results of a tour conducted by heads of diplomatic missions to Lebanese Army deployment sites south of the Litani River, where they observed the measures and procedures implemented by the army as part of the plan to extend state authority and remove armed manifestations.

President Aoun also provided General Haykal with his directives regarding the meeting scheduled to be held in Paris the day after tomorrow to discuss the needs of the Lebanese Army.
