Kanaan chairs opening of Finance and Budget Committee

A meeting of the Parliamentary Finance and Budget Committee, chaired by MP Ibrahim Kanaan, convened to examine budget allocations for a number of public bodies, including the National Human Rights Institution, the National Commission for the Missing and Forcibly Disappeared, the Economic and Social Council, the State Employees’ Cooperative, the National Council for Scientific Research, the Higher Council for Privatization, the National Archives Institution, the Investment Development Authority of Lebanon, the Tripoli Special Economic Zone Authority, the National Institute of Administration, the National Road Safety Council, and the General Consumer Markets Authority.
