Beirut Port Director General meets French Ambassador

Chairman of the Board and Director General of Beirut Port Marwan Al-Naffi welcomed French Ambassador to Lebanon Hervé Magro, accompanied by Head of the Economic Section François Sporrier, Economic Adviser Hedi Ghobass, and Director of the Expertise France Program in Lebanon and Jordan, Lili Formalioni. The meeting was held in the presence of Board Member Georges Rahhal.
According to a statement, discussions focused on ways to strengthen cooperation and coordination between the port administration and French companies, support joint projects, and develop working mechanisms in line with the new administration’s development policy and its vision of transforming Beirut Port into a key hub for maritime transport and regional trade.
The meeting also emphasized the exchange of technical expertise to enhance operational integration, facilitate coordination among stakeholders, and boost the effectiveness of joint work and development opportunities.
