Interior Minister meets General Security Chief

Minister of Interior and Municipalities Ahmad al-Hajjar received Director General of General Security, Major General Hassan Choucair, with talks focusing on the country’s overall security situation.
During the meeting, Minister al-Hajjar was briefed on the health condition of General Security personnel who were injured in the Israeli attack that targeted the town of Siblene a day earlier. He wished the wounded officers a speedy recovery.
Minister al-Hajjar reiterated his condemnation of the repeated Israeli attacks, stressing that they constitute a blatant violation of Lebanon’s sovereignty and of fundamental human rights.
