The media office of Dar Al-Fatwa issued a statement confirming that the case of the so-called "fake prince" and the prosecution of all those involved is fully in the hands of the judiciary.

The media office clarified that the person in question is not an employee of Dar Al-Fatwa or any of its affiliated institutions, and that the Grand Mufti of the Republic is not involved in the investigation in any way.

Dar al- Fatwa expressed deep regret and strong disapproval over the use of inappropriate language targeting the Grand Mufti and the esteemed institution of Dar Al-Fatwa, as well as the Higher Islamic Council, known for its steadfast national and Islamic positions.

The statement denounced what it described as a coordinated campaign of slander and misinformation, which it said contradicts the ethical standards expected in dealing with Dar Al-Fatwa. It emphasized the institution’s awareness of its responsibilities and its careful handling of all related matters.

Dar Al-Fatwa also warned against the misuse of freedom of speech to undermine its message and role.
