Aoun departs this afternoon for Cyprus

President Joseph Aoun will depart this afternoon from Rafic Hariri International Airport to Cyprus, responding to an invitation from Cypriot President Nikos Christodoulides to attend the celebration in Nicosia marking Cyprus’ assumption of the six-month EU Council presidency.
President Aoun will be accompanied by First Lady Nehmat Aoun. The celebration will also provide an opportunity for meetings with several heads of state and participating delegations.
