Barrack welcomes temporary ceasefire in Aleppo

The US envoy to Syria, Tom Barrack, welcomed the “temporary ceasefire reached in the Ashrafieh and Sheikh Maqsoud neighborhoods of Aleppo.”
He also praised the restraint and good faith shown by the Syrian government, the Syrian Democratic Forces, and local authorities, expressing hope that the temporary ceasefire in Aleppo would lead to more sustainable calm and deeper dialogue.
