Aoun stresses Lebanon’s role as regional hub for Higher Education

President of the Republic Joseph Aoun stressed the need for Lebanon to remain a leading center for higher education during a meeting with the newly appointed president of Saint Joseph University, Father François Boidec, S.J., and the director of Notre Dame de Jamhour, Father Marek Chislik.
The meeting was held in the presence of Foreign Affairs Minister Youssef Raggi, and focused on the importance of safeguarding Lebanon’s academic standing and educational mission, particularly amid current national challenges.
