After the Break… Get Ready for a New Weather Front

Relatively stable weather is dominating Lebanon and the eastern Mediterranean basin, with cold conditions, especially at night, until the early hours of Saturday. Gradually, the region will be affected by a low-pressure system originating from the Black Sea, bringing unstable and rainy weather. Its effects will continue until next Monday, when it will gradually subside.
Warning: Slippery conditions are expected on mountain roads above 1,100 meters due to ice formation during Thursday night and the early morning hours of Friday, as well as on Monday night.

Expected Weather in Lebanon:
Friday: Partly cloudy in the morning with rising temperatures, turning cloudy in the evening with fog over the mountains. Light, localized rain is expected at night, especially in northern areas.
Saturday: Partly to mostly cloudy with fog over the mountains. Slight temperature rise on the coast and decrease in the mountains and inland. Scattered rain in the morning in northern areas, with clouds thickening from noon onward, leading to rain in all regions, which may be heavy, accompanied by thunderstorms, strong winds, and a drop in temperatures. Snowfall may reach elevations of 1,600 meters and above.
Sunday: Mostly cloudy with dense fog starting from lower elevations, reducing visibility. Temperatures drop below seasonal averages. Scattered to heavy rain is expected, sometimes accompanied by hail, thunderstorms, and strong winds. Snow may fall during the day, reaching 1,500 meters, and dropping to 1,100 meters at night, especially in northern highlands.
Monday: Partly to mostly cloudy with fog over the mountains and further temperature drop. Possibility of scattered rain and light snow reaching 1,000 meters in northern highlands. Weather gradually improves from the afternoon, becoming stable with cold northern winds. Warning: Risk of slippery roads above 1,200 meters during the night and early morning.
