Rasamny holds talks with French Ambassador

Minister of Public Works and Transport Fayez Rasamny welcomed French Ambassador to Lebanon, Hervé Magro, at his office, where they discussed a number of issues of mutual interest, notably ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation between Lebanon and France in several areas related to the ministry and vital public facilities, particularly the transport sector. 

Talks also covered ongoing and future projects aimed at supporting and developing this key sector.

Minister Rasamny also met a delegation from the Board of Directors of the Port of Beirut, headed by the Director General of the Port Authority, Marwan Naffi. 

The meeting reviewed the port’s current operations, existing challenges, and the plans and measures being implemented to improve performance and enhance operational readiness in line with the requirements of the coming phase.

In addition, Rasamny was briefed by Antoine Habib, Chairman and Director General of the Housing Bank of Lebanon, accompanied by the bank’s legal adviser, on projects already implemented and future plans designed to support the housing sector and strengthen social stability.
