Watch: Teachers Threaten Strike Action

Teachers from various public education unions confirmed that they have “seen no progress on salary improvements in the past five months,” noting that “the government has turned its back on the demand for wage adjustments.”

During a sit-in in front of the Ministry of Education, the teachers called on the government to “expedite wage adjustments before we are forced into drastic measures by declaring an educational strike.”
