Restaurant Owners’ Syndicate refuses Tourism Minister’s currency circular

The Syndicate of Restaurant, Café, Nightclub, and Patisserie Owners in Lebanon strongly rejected Tourism Minister’s circular requiring prices to be listed only in Lebanese pounds, arguing it violates existing laws, exceeds authority, and harms businesses amid ongoing currency instability.


They called for immediate reversal and return to previous regulations allowing pricing in US dollars.
