The Secretary-General of the Higher Relief Authority, Major General Bassam Nabulsi, inspected this morning the collapsed building and the ongoing relief operations, saying: "The problem in the city of Tripoli is like a fireball; it is a complex issue and not simple. According to the Tripoli Municipality’s survey, 105 buildings require immediate warning notices to their residents to evacuate them. We are working on two levels: providing shelter through ready-made housing units, and also providing accommodation allowances that can be paid to them, while also finding solutions for the families."
He added: "A meeting will be held with the Prime Minister, next Monday to allocate funds to the Authority to begin the reinforcement process and take the necessary measures."
