Health Minister directs treatment of injured victims of Tripoli building collapse at ministry’s expense

The Media Office of the Ministry of Public Health announced that Minister Rakan Nasreddine has given instructions for the wounded as a result of the building collapse in the Qobbeh area of Tripoli, northern Lebanon, to be treated at the expense of the Ministry.
The Ministry’s Public Health Emergency Operations Center reported that the building collapse resulted in injuries to two citizens, who were transferred to one of the city’s hospitals.
According to a statement issued by the Ministry’s Media Office, the Emergency Operations Center has been following developments since the moment the incident occurred, in coordination with the relevant emergency agencies, as rescue operations and the removal of rubble are still ongoing to save those who remain trapped beneath the debris.
