Trump: Diplomacy remains an option with Iran

US President Donald Trump confirmed that diplomacy remains an option with Iran.
In an interview with Axios, Trump said: “They want to make a deal. I know that. They’ve called many times. They want to talk.”
He added that the situation with Iran is “unstable” after he sent a “large fleet” to the region.
Trump also addressed the decision to deploy the aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln to the Middle East, saying: “We have a large fleet near Iran, bigger than what’s around Venezuela.”
Meanwhile, Axios quoted sources familiar with the matter as saying that Trump has not yet made a final decision and is likely to hold further consultations this week, with additional military options expected to be presented to him.
