Plasschaert: UN continues work to maintain stability in the south

President of the Republic Joseph Aoun received the United Nations Special Coordinator for Lebanon, Ambassador Jeanine Hennis-Plasschaert, and discussed with her the country’s general situation, particularly in the south in light of the continued Israeli attacks on southern towns. Ambassador Plasschaert affirmed that the United Nations is closely monitoring the situation in the south and continuing efforts to help maintain stability and security there.
