Salameh meets Hajjar and Abu Saada Ahead of Antelias Lebanese Book Festival

Minister of Culture Ghassan Salameh received in his office at the National Library–Sanayeh the Editor-in-Chief of An-Nahar newspaper, Ghassan Hajjar, and the Superior General of the Basilian Salvatorian Order, Archimandrite Agapios Abu Saada. Minister Salameh discussed with Hajjar prospects for cooperation on joint projects between the Ministry and An-Nahar. Salameh also received from Archimandrite Abu Saada an invitation to a ceremony to present his book "The Third Day: A Reading of Palestinian Christian Identity" and to participate in a panel discussion about it at the Lebanese Book Festival in Antelias on March 15. Abu Saada also presented him with his second book, "Christians in the Crosswinds of the East."

"The Third Day" offers an in-depth study of the situation of Christians in Palestine, who live alongside their fellow citizens "between a history saturated with wounds, a reality fraught with challenges, and a future bound to a promise that remains alive through faith."
