Salam meets UAE FM on sidelines of World Governments Summit in Dubai

Prime Minister Nawaf Salam met with UAE Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan on the sidelines of the World Governments Summit held in Dubai.
During the meeting, Premier Salam briefed the UAE Foreign Minister on the progress achieved in the financial and economic reform process.
Salam also stressed that "the main obstacle to fully extending state authority south of the Litani River lies in Israel’s failure to withdraw from the points it continues to occupy."
The PM also stressed "the need to mobilize international support to halt Israeli hostile operations, ensure withdrawal from the occupied areas, and secure the release of prisoners."
