A worker was injured in an explosion involving liquefied natural gas pipelines in Cameron Parish, Louisiana, U.S., according to local authorities.

KPLC reported that the fire broke out on the Delfin LNG pipeline near the Holly Beach and Johnson Bayou areas. Officials from the emergency office said hazardous materials teams are on their way to the site, which remains ablaze, noting that one operator sustained minor injuries.

Johnson Bayou High School, located about six miles from the fire, was placed under a precautionary “shelter-in-place” order. Officials confirmed that there are no effects outside the explosion site.
