MP Raad: Committed to Dialogue and Cooperation

MP Mohammad Raad pointed out that the Lebanese are concerned with maintaining a climate of unity and cohesion among themselves, particularly regarding ending the occupation and restoring sovereignty. He added, “We must address our issues through coordination, cooperation, and dialogue.”
Raad also emphasized, in a statement after his meeting with President Joseph Aoun in Baabda, that “we are keen on understanding and cooperation to serve the interests of all Lebanese, ensure the return of displaced families, launch the reconstruction process, and enable the state to take responsibility for protecting sovereignty and supporting it when necessary.”
Regarding the meeting itself, he said: “We presented the details of our position and preparations, hoping for success in achieving the goals we outlined. We also listened to the President’s perspectives and agreed to continue our communication.”
