Watch: Authorities Seize Spoiled Meat, Warehouse Sealed With Red Wax

In a follow-up to its inspection campaigns under the directives of the Minister of Economy, a joint patrol of Economy Department inspectors in the South and the health inspector from Tyre Municipality, supported by personnel from the State Security Office, raided a frozen meat warehouse in the public housing district of Tyre.
The inspection revealed that the facility failed to meet basic hygiene standards and did not comply with proper storage requirements.
Approximately 150 kg of spoiled meat with foul odors were seized. The Economy Department filed a violation report against the owner and confiscated the goods. Following instructions from the South’s Appellate Public Prosecutor, Judge Amira Shahrour, the warehouse was sealed with red tape, and the confiscated meat was destroyed.
