Jordanian FM extends condolences to Raggi over Bab Al-Tabbaneh tragedy

Minister of Foreign Affairs Youssef Raggi received today a phone call from Jordanian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Ayman Safadi, who conveyed Jordan's condolences over the victims of the tragic incident in the Bab Al-Tabbaneh area of Tripoli.

Raggi expressed his "deep gratitude and appreciation to the sisterly Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, its leadership, government, and people, for their noble sentiments and brotherly solidarity with Lebanon during this painful time."

He also praised "Jordan’s readiness to provide assistance upon the directive of His Majesty King Abdullah II."

"This brotherly stance reflects the depth of the distinguished fraternal relations linking our two countries and peoples," Raggi went on, commending "Jordan’s constant support to Lebanon in all circumstances."
