Minister of Culture Ghassan Salameh received the Polish Ambassador to Lebanon, Aleksandra Bukowska-McCabe, at his office in the National Library in Sanayeh.
The visit, which was a courtesy call, also included discussions on existing cooperation between the two countries. The Ambassador stated, "This is actually my first visit, and it has been very positive. I am very grateful to have met with the Minister, especially since we discussed Poland's cooperation with Lebanon in the field of antiquities and the protection of archaeological and heritage sites in northern Lebanon, Tyre in the south, and Shheem. We hope this cooperation will continue, develop, and be strengthened between our two countries."
The Ambassador also noted that she "presented the Minister with a book containing an overview of Poland as a whole, in addition to brochures about the excavation work Poland is carrying out in Lebanon, which have been deposited in the National Library."
