Lebanese Take to the Streets as VAT and Fees Rise

Severe traffic congestion has been reported on the Ring Bridge after protesters blocked the road in opposition to the government’s recent decision. Roads in Cola and at the Khaldeh Triangle were also blocked in protest against the fee hikes and the 1 percent increase in VAT.
