President Aoun leads a series of meetings

President of the Republic Joseph Aoun received at Baabda Palace, MP Farid Boustani, Chair of the Parliamentary Committee on Economy, with whom he discussed the general situation in the country and the progress achieved in the construction of the Deir al-Qamar governmental hospital.
After the meeting, MP Boustani made the following statement to journalists:
"I met with His Excellency the President and briefed him on the progress achieved regarding the Deir al-Qamar Governmental Hospital. We thank God that the establishment of this hospital has become a reality. The administrative committee is coordinating with the Minister of Public Health in preparation for its official inauguration, as all the necessary equipment, as well as the medical and administrative staff, are now in place. This is a dream come true.’’
MP Boustani added, "I also informed His Excellency that, with the support of the Minister of Finance, the Deir al-Qamar and Chouf Real Estate Department branch will soon be inaugurated, which will help facilitate citizens’ daily affairs."
Boustani also said that the President reaffirmed that the parliamentary elections will be held within their constitutional deadline.
President Aoun also received at Baabda Palace Public Prosecutor Judge Jamal Hajjar, with whom he discussed matters related to the work of the public prosecution offices.
