Warm Weather Ahead Tomorrow, Storm Expected Later

The Forecasting Division at the Meteorology Department of the Directorate General of Civil Aviation expects tomorrow’s weather to be partly cloudy with a gradual and noticeable drop in temperatures. Humidity will rise from the afternoon, turning the weather cloudy with fog forming over the highlands and a chance of scattered light rain at night.
The bulletin reads as follows:
General situation: Stable and relatively warm weather will prevail over Lebanon and the eastern Mediterranean basin during the next two days, with temperatures above seasonal averages, until Saturday evening, when the region will be affected by a moderately active low-pressure system originating from the Greek islands, bringing occasionally rainy weather, snow over the highlands, and expected to intensify by Monday.
Note: Average February temperatures in Beirut range between 11 and 19°C, in Tripoli between 9 and 18°C, and in Zahle between 3 and 13°C.
Expected weather in Lebanon:
Friday: Mostly clear with gradually rising temperatures exceeding seasonal averages and decreasing humidity. Winds may pick up in southern Lebanon from the afternoon.
Saturday: Partly cloudy with a gradual and noticeable drop in temperatures. Humidity will rise from the afternoon, making the weather cloudy with fog on the highlands and a chance of scattered light rain at night.
Sunday: Partly to occasionally cloudy with further cooling, bringing temperatures back to seasonal averages. Fog will form on the highlands, with local rain showers that may intensify in the evening, accompanied by possible lightning, thunder, and active winds. Snow will fall above 1800 meters at night.
