Geagea Announces Lebanese Forces Candidates in Bcharre for 2026 Parliamentary Elections

Lebanese Forces leader Samir Geagea announced from the party’s headquarters in Maarab the nomination of MP Setrida Tawk Geagea and former MP Joseph Ishak for the two Maronite seats in Bcharre district in the 2026 parliamentary elections, marking the official launch of the electoral battle in the district.
Geagea said the party’s executive committee unanimously decided to renew their candidacies based on their performance and qualifications.
Addressing the nominees, he stressed that maintaining success is more challenging than achieving it, calling for doubled efforts to build on past accomplishments in Bsharri.
Furthermore, Geagea described the upcoming elections as a pivotal milestone in restoring the state and consolidating sovereignty, emphasizing that Bsharri will remain at the forefront of defending the state project.
The party also officially launched its electoral machine in the district, outlining a comprehensive organizational plan covering resident and expatriate voters, field mobilization, and full logistical and media readiness ahead of voting day.
