Berri extends congratulations to Saudi Arabia, leads a series of meetings

Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri received Romanian Ambassador to Lebanon Radu Catalin Mardare, at the Second Presidency headquarters in Ain al-Tineh, who came on a farewell visit upon the end of his diplomatic duties in the country.
The visit was also an opportunity to review the general situation and the bilateral relations between the two countries.
Speaker Berri also followed up on the current situation and political developments with head of the National Dialogue party, MP Fouad Makhzoumi.
The discussion also touched on the parliamentary elections dossier, and legislative affairs.
Berri later received Saeb Tammam Salam, with whom he discussed the latest political developments.
Among Berri’s visitors for today had been former Minister of Interior Mohammed Fahmi.
On another note, on the occasion of the founding day of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Speaker Berri cabled congratulations to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, His Royal Highness Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, and to the Speaker of the Saudi Shura Council, Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al Sheikh, wishing the Kingdom, its leadership and its people continued security, progress, prosperity and stability.
