Aoun leads a series of meetings

Baabda Presidential Palace witnessed on Tuesday a series of meetings that addressed ministerial, developmental, political and health issues.
At the ministerial level, President of the Republic, General Joseph Aoun, met Minister of Public Works and Transport, Fayez Rasamny, with whom he discussed the condition of Dahr El-Baidar road, in light of complaints and reviews he has received.
The President called for accelerating rehabilitation works, expanding the road, and ensuring permanent lighting along the route to enhance safety and traffic flow.
The President also requested swift follow-up on René Mouawad Airport in Qlayaat.
On the parliamentary front, President Aoun received MP Ali Osseiran, accompanied by his Advisor, Dr. Ghazi Ayoub, with whom he discussed the situation in the south in light of recent developments. They also addressed current political developments.
President Aoun later received former Minister and MP Assem Qanso, with whom he held a tour d’horizon on current political developments and national entitlements, in addition to the situation in the Bekaa and district’s related affairs.
President Aoun also received a delegation from the Dentists’ Syndicate headed by its Dean, Dr. Ziad Zeidan, who delivered a word at the beginning of the meeting thanking President Aoun for "his patronage of the International Dental Conference held in Beirut.’’
The discussion touched on affairs related to the syndicate and its relevant demands.
This afternoon, President Aoun received a delegation from the "Lebanese Medical Social Gathering", headed by Professor Raef Khalil Reda, who commended President Aoun’s national stances.
The delegation raised with the President relevant demands.
Aoun stressed before the delegation the importance of ensuring healthcare protection for all the Lebanese.
