Aoun reaffirms commitment to holding elections

President of the Republic Joseph Aoun continued his meetings receiving former Parliament Speaker Elie Ferzli, who said discussions focused on political developments, particularly the parliamentary elections.
Ferzli noted that Aoun is firmly committed to holding the elections in line with his constitutional oath to uphold and apply the Constitution, rejecting any attempt to circumvent its provisions.
The President also met MP William Tawk, who discussed regional developments, security concerns, and conditions in the Bsharri district.
Former minister Boutros Harb later visited Baabda Palace, with talks covering current political developments.
