Netanyahu: Operation to Remove the Iranian Threat Has Begun

Benjamin Netanyahu said that Israel and the United States have recently begun what he described as “an operation to remove the existential threat posed by the terrorist regime in Iran.”
In a statement, Netanyahu thanked “our great friend” Donald Trump for his “historic leadership.”
He added that for 47 years, the Iranian regime has called for the death of Israel and the United States, accusing it of spilling blood, killing Americans, and committing violence against its own people.
Netanyahu stressed that this “murderous terrorist regime” must not be allowed to possess nuclear weapons that could threaten humanity.
“Our joint operation will create the conditions that allow the brave Iranian people to take control of their own future,” he said.
Earlier, Yedioth Ahronoth reported that Netanyahu and senior Israeli security officials were holding a meeting in an underground location to monitor developments in Iran.
