Hezbollah condemns the treacherous US-Israeli aggression that targeted the Islamic Republic of Iran after months of Zionist and American threats aimed at subjugating the Islamic Republic, forcing it to surrender, and depriving it of its natural and legitimate right to possess peaceful nuclear capabilities and develop its defensive missile capacities, as is the case for all other countries in the world.
This new aggression, which constitutes a blatant violation of international law and the United Nations Charter, continues the arrogance and tyranny exercised by the U.S. administration and the criminal Zionist entity in our region, in a desperate attempt to destabilize it, subjugate its peoples, and force them to accept schemes of domination and occupation.
What is happening today, after the failure of the twelve-day war launched by the Israeli enemy with direct US participation, confirms that the problem was never the nuclear program itself, but the rejection of a strong, self-reliant state in the region that upholds its sovereignty and independent national decision, a capable state that safeguards its resources, develops its capabilities, refuses to join the American dependency system, supports free and oppressed peoples worldwide, and stands as an impenetrable barrier against Zionist-American schemes in the region. They, instead, want weak, depleted entities that are easy to control and dominate, paving the way for their colonial and occupation plans.
