Hezbollah Deputy Secretary-General Sheikh Naim Qassem expressed deep condolences on the alleged martyrdom of Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.

He praised Khamenei as a symbol of resistance, devotion, and dedication to Islam, describing his death as a "divine honor" and "the highest badge of martyrdom on the path of Imam Hussein."

Qassem said he mourns Khamenei with a heart full of pain but also feels pride that the leader passed away in the holy month of Ramadan while guiding the struggle against U.S. and Israeli forces. He emphasized that Khamenei left behind millions of followers and leaders committed to continuing his path of resistance and defending Islamic values.

Condemning the alleged attack, Qassem called it a "crime against humanity" and accused U.S. and Israeli forces of targeting Khamenei and innocent Iranian civilians. He described it as a grave act of injustice and a "stain on the conscience of humanity."

Hezbollah vowed to continue resisting what it called the "aggression of the oppressors" and to defend land, dignity, and independence. Qassem reaffirmed the group’s commitment to Khamenei’s principles, emphasizing steadfastness, perseverance, and the pursuit of justice.

Finally, Qassem offered condolences to the Iranian leadership, religious authorities, and the people of Iran, promising to uphold Khamenei’s legacy and continue the path of jihad and resistance until the goals of sovereignty, freedom, and justice are achieved.
