LF Ministers Set Higher Demands Before the Session

MTV has learned that the Lebanese Forces ministers will take a tougher stance during the Cabinet session regarding the implementation of the decision adopted in the previous meeting, calling for the deployment of the army and security forces and for the judiciary to take action against those violating the law and defying the state.
They will also call on Justice Minister Adel Nassar to prompt the public prosecutors to act, and on Defense Minister Michel Menassa to follow up on the implementation of the Cabinet’s decision.
They will present documents to the Cabinet detailing violations that fall outside the law, in line with the Cabinet’s decision, which have occurred since the government adopted its resolution.
They will also call for the opening of major shelter centers that remain closed and are located near displacement areas, such as the Camille Chamoun Sports City Stadium and the Lebanese University complex in Hadath, in order to ease the pressure on the capital and shorten the distance for displaced people.
