Airstrikes leave martyrs in southern border towns

Israeli airstrikes targeted several areas in southern Lebanon overnight, leaving multiple casualties.
An Israeli strike hit a house in the town of Tefahta, in the Sidon district. The Emergency Operations Center of the Ministry of Public Health said in a statement that “the Israeli enemy’s strike on the town of Tefahta in the Sidon district resulted, in a preliminary and non-final toll, in the killing of five citizens.” The statement added that rescue operations and rubble removal are still ongoing in search of missing persons.
Meanwhile, shortly after midnight, Israeli warplanes carried out an airstrike on the town of Choukine.
At dawn, an Israeli drone targeted a café in the town of Jbal El Botm in the Tyre district, killing three people. According to the Emergency Operations Center of the Ministry of Public Health, the strike resulted, in a preliminary toll, in three people killed and four others wounded.
