Earthquake hits central Turkey

A 5.5-magnitude earthquake struck central Turkey, the Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD) reports.
AFAD said the quake’s epicenter was in Niksar, Tokat province, at a depth of 6.4 km, occurring at 03:35 local time. The tremor was felt across several provinces, and no negative developments have been reported so far.
