Turkish Foreign Ministry: The Israeli attack on Syria is a serious escalation

The Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs sharply criticized Israel for targeting military infrastructure in southern Syria and called on the international community to intervene, according to Agence France-Presse.
In a statement, the ministry said: "We consider the Israeli attack on military infrastructure in southern Syria a serious escalation and strongly condemn it." The Turkish Foreign Ministry urged the international community to "halt the Israeli attacks."
The Israeli army said it struck "infrastructure belonging to the Syrian regime" in response to what it described as attacks targeting the Druze community in the Suwayda Governorate in southern Syria.
