Security investigates armed robbery in Zgharta neighborhood

Early this morning, the Nazlet Al-Makhada neighborhood in Zgharta was the scene of an armed robbery. Unknown assailants broke into the home of a local resident, identified as B.T., and threatened his wife, who was inside at the time.
The intruders stole several household items along with a sum of approximately $50,000. They also took the homeowner’s Mercedes vehicle before fleeing to an unknown location.
