President of the Republic Joseph Aoun held a series of meetings at Baabda Palace, where officials underscored the need for national unity, strengthened state authority and urgent humanitarian action.
Administrative Development Minister Fadi Makki stressed that priorities include confronting ongoing Israeli attacks, supporting displaced citizens and reinforcing civil peace through dialogue.
MP Michel Daher highlighted mounting economic pressures, including displacement and rising global oil prices.
Meanwhile, Nicolas Von Arx warned of rapidly deteriorating humanitarian conditions, noting large-scale displacement and continued civilian suffering, while reaffirming ongoing relief efforts and support for healthcare services.
