Morcos Announces Army-Led Mechanism to Coordinate Journalists’ Access to Strike Areas

Information Minister Paul Morcos announced measures to facilitate the work and ensure the safety of journalists covering the war, following discussions at a cabinet session on coordinating access to areas targeted by Israeli strikes.
After consultations with Defense Minister Michel Menassa, and the Lebanese Army command, a dedicated email address "Press@lebarmy.gov.lb" will be used by reporters seeking access to those areas, with a liaison officer appointed for coordination.
Morcos praised the army’s role and Menassa’s swift response.
The ministry will also continue receiving requests from foreign correspondents, including on weekends and holidays, at "moi_pressroom@yahoo.com" to facilitate their missions.
