Salam meets French Armed Forces Minister, receives Macron’s support

Prime Minister Nawaf Salam received French Minister Delegate for the Armed Forces Alice Rufo, at the Grand Serail, in the presence of French Ambassador to Lebanon Hervé Magro.
Minister Rufo conveyed to Premier Salam a message of support from French President Emmanuel Macron, affirming that "France stands by Lebanon diplomatically."
The French Minister also reiterated France's support for the Lebanese Army and its readiness to facilitate negotiations with Israel.
For his part, Premier Salam thanked France for its political efforts, while renewing Lebanon's readiness to engage in a negotiation path.
