Israel to Hezbollah Money Exchangers: Your Activities Put You at Risk

The spokesperson for the Israeli army Avichay Adraee wrote on X:

“During the war, the IDF targeted Hezbollah’s sources of funding through Al-Qard Al-Hassan Association and fuel networks. Another source that was targeted is the network of money exchangers, which constitutes the main and most important financial source for this terrorist organization.

The individuals Mohammad Noureddine and Hussein Ibrahim act as key money exchangers for Hezbollah. Mohammad is a Lebanese businessman and owner of several exchange companies, including Trade Point International S.A.R.L, registered in Lebanon, which is used as a platform to transfer funds from several countries to Hezbollah. Noureddine relies on local exchangers in multiple countries, enabling him to carry out money transfer operations.

As for Hussein Ibrahim, he is also a central figure in such an exchange network. He is a businessman and money exchanger with ties in several countries and runs BOA CHANCE, a company operating outside Lebanon. His activities include cooperation with other entities, using shell companies and international trade routes to launder and transfer money.”

He added: “A message to money exchangers working in service of Hezbollah: due to your role in financing Hezbollah, the IDF warns that continuing to fund the group puts you at risk. A message to the people of Lebanon: for your safety, avoid any contact with Hezbollah’s money exchangers and stay away from them.”
