India signals stable oil supply from Iran despite Middle East volatility

India’s Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas reports that domestic refiners continue to secure stable crude oil supplies despite escalating disruptions across the Middle East.
In a statement released on X, the ministry said, “Indian refiners have secured their crude oil requirements, including from Iran.”
The ministry added that there is no payment hurdle for Iranian crude imports, contrary to the rumours being circulated.
