Minister of Social Affairs Haneen Sayed wrote on her X account:
"I was pleased to meet with David Miliband, President and CEO of the International Rescue Committee (IRC), as we continue working together to support vulnerable communities in Lebanon. Building on our previous work on the Early Childhood Development Strategy, we discussed the growing needs of families both inside and outside shelters, the importance of strengthening social cohesion between displaced and host communities, and the need to ensure the continuity of Ministry services alongside relief efforts."
