Watch: Palm Sunday at St. Joseph Church in Larnaca

As is customary in Cyprus to unify the holy celebrations between the Orthodox and Catholic churches, the parish of St. Joseph Maronite Church in Larnaca celebrated today the Feast of Palm Sunday, according to the Orthodox calendar followed on the island, in a spiritual atmosphere filled with devotion and joy.
The Divine Liturgy was presided over by the parish priest, Father AKl Abou Nader, who also performed the rite of blessing the palm fronds and candles, with the participation of a large crowd of faithful who filled the church. They paraded around it in the Palm Sunday procession, carrying their children on their shoulders while chanting the acclamation of faith and hope: "Hosanna to the Son of David," and prayed for peace in Lebanon and the Middle East.
