Laptop Belonging to Israeli Prime Minister's Office Employee Stolen

Burglars broke into the home of an employee at the Prime Minister's Office on Monday. Initial reports indicate a laptop computer was taken from the house, which is located in a moshav in the Sharon. The content of the computer is still unknown. The burglars managed to escape the scene undetected, and police have launched an investigation.
Officers who arrived on the scene said thy found the house in order, contrary to what one might expect from a typical burglary. They said it seems the burglars were after something specific which they succeeded in obtaining.
Last month, a cellular phone belonging to a senior employee of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's official office was stolen, while its owner was shopping in the Ramot Mall in Jerusalem.
The phone, which belongs to the head of the bureau chief of the Prime Minister’s Office, Nehama Mazal, contained email messages from the Prime Minister’s Office and an agenda of the prime minister’s appointments.
The memory on the phone also contained confidential details for contacting cabinet members, Knesset members, and other persons holding sensitive positions.
