Salam: Lebanon’s Allies Must Step Up Assistance

Prime Minister Nawaf Salam pointed out that, “While we welcome the agreement between Iran and the United States and intensified our efforts to reach a ceasefire agreement in Lebanon, Israel continues to expand its attacks on densely populated residential neighborhoods, claiming the lives of unarmed civilians across Lebanon, especially in the capital Beirut, disregarding all regional and international efforts to stop the war. This is on top of its blatant disregard for the principles of international law and international humanitarian law, which it has never respected. All of Lebanon’s friends are called upon to help us stop these attacks by all available means.”
