Salam: Decision to Limit Arms to the State in Beirut

Prime Minister Nawaf Salam announced that “Lebanon will file an urgent complaint with the UN Security Council regarding the Israeli attacks and their expansion in Beirut.”
After the Cabinet session, he added: “This dangerous Israeli escalation undermines all efforts to stop the war.”
He continued: “The army and security forces are being asked to immediately reinforce the full authority of the state across the Beirut Governorate and ensure that weapons are held solely by legitimate forces.”
