Is Beirut Airport Still Safe from Attacks?

Minister of Public Works and Transport Fayez Rasamny announced that he received assurances from diplomatic bodies and relevant authorities that Beirut Airport and its access road will remain outside any scope of targeting, as long as their use is limited to civilian purposes.

Rasamny had conducted several contacts with the concerned authorities to neutralize the airport and its access road, ensuring the safety of passenger movement and the continuity of operations.
